Urban herd.
This summer Bordeaux will welcome a herd of cows like no other. The mad-cow disease will be contageous, as these brightly coloured and inventively decorated creations invade the city. The popular Cow Parade continues on its world stampede, having been set up in 1998 in Zurich where 812 fibreglass cows were scattered around the city in order to promote art and render the city a little more dynamic.
Once, again, hundreds of life-size cows, painted, decorated, perforated or even graffitied by a veritable of artists, will be exhibited all over the city to the delight of the inhabitants and tourists alike. The event will finish with an auction, the proceeds of which will go to charity.
