Short films become big.
The International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand is the leading event dedicated to the short film format in the world. Aside the national competition, the international competition, and the Laboratory (where new and exciting things happen) the event will also feature retrospectives and a whole programme of themed events.
Every year, professionals from around the world come to the festival to be closer to their audiences, an ever-growing and enthusiastic group. This is the world's showcase for short films: the equivalent of Cannes Festival for shorts!
Venues for screenings and events will include:
