The magnificence of nature.
At the artistic peak, in the twilight years of his life, Joseph Haydn deployed in this grandoise and much-loved work the prodigious range of his expressive palette. He was to combine humour and gravity, the picturesque and the magnificent, as no other had done before. With this allegorical opera he acheived the most audacious and visionary work of his entire career.
Accompanied by the University Choir and the Conservatory Orchestra, three young soloists who won the Clermont-Ferrand singing competition will be joyfully celebrating the force and splendour of nature.
